Julie and Steve - We have owned and managed our 3800 sq.ft. store since 1999. Steve has always helped at the store part time, but joined the store full time in 2010. Julie's sewing experience includes 4-H clothing construction, Professional Clothiers Association and credited courses in garment construction from area technical schools & Oregon State University. Julie is also a factory trained technician for several brands of sewing equipment & vacuums. Our education and experience provides us with the right combination to give you a great experience at South Sound Sew & Vac.
Jean - I began sewing when I was nine. My mother and I made most of my clothes when I was growing up. After my 30 year teaching career, I returned to more 'serious' sewing. Quilting and embroidery are my passions now.
Michele - I started teaching sewing and sewing professionally when I was 16 years old. As I continued on through my life, I learned tailoring, alterations, home décor and machine embroidery. Quilting is my next frontier!
Jyll - Sewing and teaching others is my passion so much more than a hobby! I participate in many area sewing groups and community projects.
